To recognize happiness as a basic human right, the United Nations made March 20th the 'International day of Happiness'.
To celebrate the day in 2015, we partnered with Pharrell and the UN Foundation to invite the whole world to a global GIF party.
To join the party, all you had to do was take 4 pictures using your device’s camera.
The site then turned them into an animated GIF and added you alongside thousands of people dancing in sync to the song 'Happy' by Pharrell.
Over 50'000 people from 162 countries joined in to celebrate happiness.
Even Pegman got dressed up as Pharrell for the occasion!
